Our Labor and Delivery Unit is located on the 8th Floor of Tisch Hospital. When advised by your doctor to go to the hospital, you should check in at the nursing station here.

Once on the floor, your baby will be placed on a fetal monitor, and you will be examined by your doctor, midwife or house physician.

The doctor or midwife will then determine if it is time for you to be admitted or if you should walk around for a little while before re-examination, or going home.
