Your baby will be assessed and lovingly cared for after birth in the nursery.

Once there, your baby will be placed under the warmer for about an hour. He or she will be bathed upon coming out of the warmer, usually in three to six hours after delivery.

After your baby is bathed, his/her temperature is retaken. If the temperature is within the normal range, your little one is ready to room-in with you on the Mother-Baby Unit.
